Terms and Conditions For Exchanging, Returning or Refunding Quicken Retail and Electronically Delivered Products

All Quicken products have an unconditional 60-day money back satisfaction guarantee.   You can return Quicken for any reason within 60 days and receive a full refund of the purchase price not including shipping and handling fees.

Direct Orders from Intuit

 

If you placed your order for a CD online within the last 45 minutes, a Cancel button will appear on the Order Details page when you sign in to your online account.  

The products must be returned to Intuit's Distribution Center.  All physical components of the product must be included with the return. This includes the manual, installation CD-ROM and a copy of the packing slip if the product was ordered directly from Intuit. delivery confirmation. Intuit is not responsible for lost mail that is not received or products damaged during return shipment. Shipping fees for the initial order and the product return will not be reimbursed.

Include delivery confirmation. For physical products, it can take up to 3 or 4 weeks to apply a refund from the time Intuit receives the returned product at our warehouse. For downloaded products and service unlocks, refunds are typically applied to your debit/credit card within 3 business days.

Retail Purchases

If the product was purchased from a retail outlet and the retailer will not accept the product return, you may return the product to Intuit within 60 days from the purchase date.  You must furnish a copy of the retail purchase receipt in order to be eligible for a refund.

All physical components of the product must be included with the return (the manual, installation disk and a copy of the receipt).  Shipping fees are not be reimbursed

It can take up to 3 or 4 weeks to apply a refund.  A check will be mailed to you via USPS.

Electronically Delivered Products (Downloads)

You have 60 days from the purchase date to obtain a refund for product downloads, product unlocks, and all other electronically delivered Intuit products. Since there is no physical product shipped, you are not required to send anything back to the Returns Department. Refunds for electronically delivered Quicken products can be requested by contacting Quicken customer service here.

Refunds for electronically delivered products through Intuit are typically applied to your debit or credit card within 2 - 3 days.

For Quicken software downloaded from Amazon.com, uninstall Quicken and then send an e-mail request to ereturns@intuit.com or send a written request to Intuit Returns, PO Box 386, Greenville, SC 29334-0386.  Requests need to be received within 60 days of purchase.  Attach proof of purchase, such as the Your Order with Amazon.com confirmation e-mail. Refunds will be processed with a paper check within 3 - 4 weeks.  Please be sure your address is current.

Quicken Product Purchases Through the Mac App Store

 

In order to ensure your refund request is properly addressed by the Mac App Store, please ensure you contact Apple directly for resolution.  

How will I receive my refund?

I paid for Quicken with a credit or debit card

. . .and received a physical product (CD)

If you paid for Quicken using a debit or credit card, Intuit will refund your purchase by applying the funds back to the original card used to purchase the software. Refunds are typically applied within 3 - 4 weeks from the time Intuit receives the returned product at our warehouse.

. . .and received a non-physical product (download or product unlock)

If you paid for Quicken using a debit or credit card, Intuit will refund your purchase by applying the funds back to the original card used to purchase the software. Refunds are typically applied within 2 - 3 days.  Depending on your financial institution's process, this could take up to 10 days. Please contact us if you have not received your refund after 10 days.

I paid for Quicken with a check

If you paid by writing a check, Intuit will refund your money by check, which is typically mailed within 3 - 4 weeks from the time Intuit receives the returned product at our warehouse. Refund checks are sent via US Postal Service and delivery times can vary.

I paid for Quicken with cash

If you paid with cash, Intuit will refund your money by check, which is typically mailed within 3 - 4 weeks from the time Intuit receives the returned product at our warehouse. Refund checks are sent via US Postal Service and delivery times can vary.
