Quicken 2012 for Windows System Requirements

Note: Quicken 2012 for Windows requires Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 to run. Windows XP and higher should have .NET installed. If you need to install .NET 2.0, visit this FAQ for help.

To use Quicken 2012, your system must meet the requirements below.

Computer	1 GHz or higher
Operating System	Works with Windows XP SP2 or SP3, Vista, Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit). Windows 8 is not recommended for this product. If you are running Windows 8, please upgrade your Quicken software.
Memory	1 GB or higher
Hard Disk Space	Up to 450 MB free space, up to 1 GB if .NET not installed
Monitor	1024×768 with 16-bit color or higher resolution
CD-ROM Drive	Double speed (4X or higher recommended for multimedia) if installing from disk
Internet Connection	56 kbps modem or higher (broadband recommended for online services
Sound	Sound card and speakers recommended
Printer	Printers compatible with Windows XP SP2 or later

Additional software:

Microsoft .NET 2.0 or later (included in Quicken installer)
Windows Installer 3.1 (included in Quicken installer)
Internet Explorer 6.0 or later (included in Quicken installer)
