Quicken 2001 Manual Updates (Mac)

To install the manual update:

Note: Mac OS X users need to restart using Mac OS 9.1 prior to installing the update. To switch to Mac OS 9.1, complete the following steps.

1. Skip to Step 5 if you're using Mac OS 8.x or 9.x. Otherwise, click the System Preferences icon on the Dock.
2. Double-click the Startup Disk icon.
3. Select the System Folder labeled Mac OS 9.1 on ...
4. On the Apple menu, select Restart.
5. Click here to download the Updater.
6. The Updater will search for the ofxroots.crt file, located in the Quicken Deluxe 2001 > Quicken Essentials folder. If it finds more than one, select the file that corresponds to the copy of Quicken you want to update.

   If the updater application does not find ofxroots.crt, reinstall Quicken Deluxe 2001 from your original CD. Refer to the README file included in your download for additional information or if you have problems installing the update.

7. Click Update.
