Message When Updating to Latest Release: Download error reading update file

When updating Quicken to the latest release, the following message may occur:

Download error reading update file.

To resolve this issue:

1. Close Quicken.
2. Right-click the Quicken desktop icon and select Run as Administrator. If you receive a warning about unauthorized access, click Allow.
3. If you are prompted for your Administrator password, enter the password. If you did not establish an Administrator password when you installed Windows Vista, click Continue.
4. Select the Help menu, and select Download Latest Version.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the update process.
