New 2015 Quicken Mobile App

Quicken on your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet) makes keeping track of your money super easy. Whether you’re at home or on-the-go, you’ll know where you're spending your money, how much you have left, and how it all compares to your budget. You can even choose to receive alerts and notifications regarding your account balances, fees, and spending patterns. And, you can now snap and store receipts to keep track of your important purchases.

Faster sync! Click a single button in your desktop software to sync your data across your computer, tablet, and smartphone—easily and securely.

Be sure to download the 2015 Quicken Mobile app that syncs with your Quicken 2015 desktop software and now allows you to Snap & Store your receipts in Quicken from your mobile device.

Note: if you downloaded the 2014 Quicken mobile app last year, it will not sync with your Quicken 2015 software. You will need to download the new 2015 Quicken app.

To get started:

1. Download the 2015 Quicken Mobile App.

2. Click the Mobile & Alerts tab in Quicken.

 

3. Click Get Started. You need your Intuit ID to sign in. See more information below about setting up your Intuit ID.

 

4. Select the Checking, Savings, Credit or cash accounts you’d like to see on your Quicken app.

 

When you’ve finished setting things up, syncing is easy. Just check the “Sync to Quicken Cloud” checkbox when you perform a One Step Update or click the “Sync Now” button on the Mobile & Alerts tab and your Quicken desktop data will appear on all of your synced mobile devices, and the transactions or receipts you’ve entered on your mobile device will appear on your desktop.

 

Snap and store your receipts

Snap a picture of your receipt with your phone or tablet, and easily keep track of your most important purchases in Quicken 2015!

  1. Take of picture of your receipt.
  2. Confirm the image or retake it.
  3. Enter the retailer and the amount. Your receipt will be securely stored in your Quicken Cloud account and be available on all your devices.
  4. Quicken will automatically sync the receipt to the transaction in your Register the next time you sync your desktop.
  5. You can also add picture attachments on your desktop and the view them in your Quicken app on your phone or tablet.

Bill reminders in your Register

After you set up your bill (or income) reminders, you can choose to show them in your Register so you can see what impact your planned spending will have on your account balance. Click the reminder icon in the first column to act on the reminders: update the amount when you get a bill, enter the reminder when you’re ready to pay, or skip reminders that you’ve already taken care of.

Tip: Click to change the time period for the reminders to display (next 7 days, next 30 days, etc.) You can also toggle reminder on-and-off as you need them.

 

Set up your Intuit ID to access Quicken Connected Services

You may already have an Intuit ID if you use other Intuit products like TurboTax or QuickBooks. Now your Intuit ID gives you access to all the benefits of Quicken Connected Services like downloading your bank transactions getting investing data, and paying your bills directly from Quicken. If you choose to use the Quicken 2015 app on your phone or tablet, you’ll also use your Intuit ID to sign in to the app. If you don’t already have an Intuit ID, follow the easy instructions below.

  1. Fill in the information to set up your Intuit ID and complete your registration
  2. If you already have an Intuit ID, click the "Already have an Intuit ID" link and sign in to complete your registration.
