Balance column is blank in Quicken 2010

Summary

After updating to Quicken 2010 R7, the running balance column becomes blank, when the account register is sorted by anything other than "Date/Amount", or "Date/Order Entered".

Due to feedback we have received from our customers regarding the running balance column not calculating correctly, we made the change in the R7 Release of Quicken 2010, to not show the running balance if the sorting is not based on date.  In the previous releases, no matter what sort order you chose, Quicken would always sort by date, instead of the sort order selected.  With this new change, the balance amount does update to the new sort order, and is always based on date.

 

Solution

This issue has been resolved in the latest release of Quicken 2010.  Please update to the latest release to resolve this issue.
