Changes to TD Bank Online Banking

Updated: 2/13/2013 | Article ID: SLN67550

TD Bank is making improvements to TD Bank Online Banking services. These changes mean you need to modify your Quicken settings to ensure a smooth transition of your data. Quicken and TD Bank have been working together to make this transition as seamless as possible, but you may encounter certain issues with the process.

Start with the instructions provided by TD Bank for preparing your Quicken accounts by selecting your Quicken product on this article at the TD Bank website, (steps summarized here):

  1. Cancel all outstanding online payments (Quicken Windows and Quicken Mac, not Quicken Essentials Mac);
  2. Perform One Step Update and accept all downloaded transactions;
  3. Deactivate accounts for all online services (Transaction Download and Bill Pay);
  4. Reactivate accounts using the new name TD Bank Online Banking - New

If you do not find TD Bank Online Banking - New in your Quicken file, please follow these instructions for updating the FIDir.txt manually, then go through the Reactivate process again.
