Quicken displays the Account Bar on the left side of the screen (by default) as a convenient way for you to switch between accounts. If you do not see the Account Bar, you may have hidden it or customized it to appear on the right. In addition, the appearance of the Account Bar depends on how you have customized the working area of your register or transaction list, and whether you have hidden accounts. To customize the Account bar, right-click within it and choose your customization settings.
Note: If the Account Bar is hidden, there will be a small plus symbol to the left of Accounts in the top left corner of your Quicken environment. Click it to expand the Account Bar.
