How to restore your Quicken 2010 backup file

Here's how to restore your backup file in Quicken 2010:

  1. Click on File > Backup and Restore > Restore from Backup Filequicken2010_file_backup_and_restore_from_backup_file
  2. Browse your computer to find the backup file you want to restore. The Quicken 2010 backup file has the extension QDF-Backup.
  3. Double-click on the Quicken backup file name. A pop-up window will appear to restore it.Quicken2010_restore_from_backup_file
Note: In Quicken 2010, you cannot open your backup file directly. In the File > Open Quicken File window, backup files are not visible.
