Quicken discontinuation policy

Updated: 10/15/2009 | Article ID: 3875

We work hard to put the most up-to-date financial information right at your fingertips. That includes continually looking for new ways to make Quicken even more powerful and easier to use. Take, for example, our "connected services" such as online bill pay, downloading stock quotes and financial transactions, and connecting your portfolio information. Because technology changes all the time, we are only able to maintain the systems that power these connected services for three years. After that, only parts of Quicken that do not rely on connecting to the internet will work.

We do our best to provide you with advance notice of these changes in a variety of ways, including mail or e-mail notifications, in-product notifications, or on our website.

If you are currently using an older version of Quicken and do not need live support or services, your product will continue to work. In order to enjoy the full power of Quicken and maintain uninterrupted access to your services, we suggest you upgrade to the current version of Quicken.
