Overview - SRMBX
The investment seeks a high level of income exempt from federal income tax, consistent with the preservation of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in municipal securities that pay interest exempt from regular federal income tax. It may invest without limit in municipal securities that pay interest that is taxable under the federal alternative minimum tax (AMT). The fund invests in securities of varying maturities. The fund may invest more than 25% of total assets in private activity and industrial development bonds if the interest paid on them is exempt from regular federal income tax.
