The fund invests primarily in a portfolio of short-term, high-quality Minnesota tax-exempt securities. It invests its assets so that, normally, distributions of annual interest income are exempt from federal regular income tax and Minnesota regular personal income tax. The fund normally invests its assets so that at least 80% of the income that it distributes is exempt from federal regular income tax and Minnesota regular personal income tax.
