The investment objective of the Fund is to maximize capital growth by investing its assets primarily in equities of Canadian natural resource companies. Canadian securities law requires that no material change may be made in the fundamental investment objective of the Fund without the prior approval of the shareholders of the Fund. The Fund may, also invest a portion of its assets in securities of US and other foreign issuers. In order to achieve its objective, the Fund will invest its assets primarily in equities of Canadian natural resource companies including, by way of example, those engaged in mining, oil and gas, forest products, water resources and fishing, and those companies that support such industries.
