To provide long-term capital growth by investing primarily in equity securities of large and medium sized Canadian companies. To achieve the Fund’s objective, the Manager: selects investments based on fundamental research and analysis. Security selection is ultimately based on an understanding of the company, its business and its future prospects; seeks companies with superior growth prospects and strong earnings momentum which trade at attractive valuations; invests primarily in large and medium sized Canadian companies, although the Manager may take advantage of attractive opportunities in small-cap companies; diversifies investments by industry groups, economic drivers and/or investment themes; may invest up to 25 percent of fund assets in cash or money market instruments to preserve capital in the event of adverse market conditions.
