The fund’s objective is to provide long-term capital appreciation through investment in equity markets outside of Canada and the U.S. by investing in equity securities of issuers throughout the world including Europe, Asia and the Far East. The Fund may also invest in mutual funds managed by us, our affiliates or other fund managers that are consistent with this investment objective. The portfolio manager will seek to outperform the MSCI EAFE Index, as measured in Canadian dollars. The fund’s investment strategy employs a combination of Canadian equity investment managers that manage portfolios using one of two investment styles: Value and GARP. Please see page 27 for a description of each of these investment styles. The fund may also invest in mutual funds managed by us, our affiliates or other fund managers that are consistent with this investment objective and may invest up to 100% of its net assets in securities of other mutual funds.
