The Fund’s investment objective is to seek to provide long-term capital appreciation through investment in the U.S. equity markets by investing primarily in equity securities of U.S. companies and to a lesser degree, bonds, debentures and other securities issued by governments, financial institutions and companies (including, among others, exchange traded funds) in Canada and in the United States. The Fund may also invest in mutual funds managed by us, our affiliates or other fund managers that are consistent with this investment objective. The portfolio manager will seek to outperform the S&P 500 Index, as measured in Canadian dollars.
