The Fund will invest primarily in equity and equity-related securities issued by large, actively traded companies located in "Emerging Giant" countries. The Fund's investment advisor currently considers BRIC to be Emerging Giant countries. The strategy is to invest in BRIC economies using quantitative stock selection and active management of equity market exposure and country allocation, based on proprietary valuation models; it seeks to achieve returns in excess of a BRIC market reference in the long term. Risk management and cost control are both central to the strategy.
