The investment seeks to achieve long-term capital growth. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, measured at the time of purchase, in equity securities (i) of issuers in emerging markets or (ii) that are tied economically to emerging markets, provided that, in either case, the issuers of any such securities are expected to be beneficiaries of the "Great Consumer." The Investment Manager defines "Great Consumer" as the collective direct and indirect economic effect resulting from increased consumption activities and growing purchasing power of individuals within the world's emerging economies.
