The investment seeks to provide capital growth and appreciation. The fund provides investors a well-diversified portfolio of international stocks, as well as a modest amount of bonds, by investing primarily in Class I shares of certain Ivy Funds global/international mutual funds. Each underlying fund, in turn, invests in a diversified portfolio of primarily foreign equity securities of issuers in developed as well as emerging markets, and, to a lesser extent, a mixture of investment grade bonds issued by foreign corporations and governments.
