The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund, which is a diversified separate investment portfolio of the Gardner Lewis Investment Trust (the "Trust"), seeks capital appreciation by investing primarily in equity securities, such as common and preferred stock and securities convertible into common stock, without regard to market capitalization. It will invest at least 90% of its total assets in equity securities, of which no more than 25% of the fund's total assets will be invested in the securities of any one industry.
