The investment seeks daily investment results that correspond to the inverse (-1x) of the daily performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Basic MaterialsSM Index.
The fund invests in derivatives that the advisor believes, in combination, should have similar daily return characteristics as the inverse (-1x) of the daily return of the index. The index measures the performance of the basic materials sector of the U.S. equity market. Component companies are involved in the production of aluminum, steel, non-ferrous metals, commodity chemicals, specialty chemicals, forest products, paper products, as well as the mining of precious metals and coal. It is non-diversified.
