Q: Is the Quicken download the same as the CD-ROM version?
A: Yes. When you download, you get the same Quicken Personal Finance software that comes on the CD-ROM. You just get it sooner!
Q: What are the requirements to download Quicken?
A: You must have
all three of the following to download:
- A high-speed internet connection (DSL, cable modem, or higher)
- Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher

- 100 MB of free disk space for Windows, or 1 GB for Mac

Important: We do not recommend that customers with dial-up connections download Quicken because of the large file size. Customers with dial-up connections should choose CD-ROM delivery instead.
Q: How long does it take to download Quicken?
A: Below are download file sizes and typical download times for cable and DSL modems. Actual download times will vary, depending upon modem speed, internet traffic, time of day, and other factors. Intuit does not recommend that customers with dial-up connections download Quicken because of the large file size, which can result in download times of over 2 hours. Customers with dial-up connections should choose CD-ROM delivery instead.
